To change lives and make a difference for individuals.

The Law Centre aims:

  •  To assist users with legal services which they would not otherwise obtain through lack of means.

  •  To advance the legal education among people resident or working in the benefit area.

  •  To advance such other charitable purposes as are beneficial to the community or people resident or working in the benefit area.

Company Profile

The Law Centre was established in 1984 and moved to its current premises in July 1985.

It provides free independent legal advice and representation in social welfare law to people who live, work, study or visit Greenwich.

The Law Centre is a member of the Law Centres Federation a body that represents all Law Centres in England.

Currently the Law Centre employs seven paid staff and ten active volunteers who together provide the legal advice services provided by the centre.
